Mandi Karvis, a shareholder with the firm, practices primarily in the area of medical malpractice defense. In that capacity she represents physicians, chiropractors, nurses, and other individual healthcare providers, as well as hospitals, nursing homes, and other types of care facilities. Ms. Karvis has tried cases in state and federal court. She also represents healthcare providers before their respective licensing boards including, but not limited to the Arizona Medical Board, Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners, Arizona State Board of Nursing, and Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. In addition, Ms. Karvis represents municipalities in general tort and civil rights matters. She also handles various other general civil litigation matters. Prior to joining Sanders & Parks, Ms. Karvis practiced in the areas of personal injury and bankruptcy.
