Mark Gilling is a Shareholder and Director in the firm. He is also an Officer of the firm (Treasurer), and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Mr. Gilling concentrates his practice on serious injury and wrongful death litigation, principally product defect cases. These include vehicle or tire defects that lead to catastrophic accidents such as rollovers and tread separations. By way of example, in just the last few years he has successfully handled numerous such cases for multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients including $5.1 million (tire defect), $1.5 million (tire defect), $1.5 million (vehicle defect) and $1 million (vehicle accident). He has also handled other complex litigation matters to significant results for his clients including $2.25 million (breach of insurance contract), $2.75 million (consumer fraud), $1.85 million (consumer fraud), $2.5 million (breach of insurance contract) and $1 million (breach of insurance contract). He is currently accepting cases regarding Toyota's sudden-acceleration defects in the Camry, Prius, Corolla, Rav 4, Matrix, Avalon, Highlander, Tundra, and Sequoia. He has successfully represented several insurance companies in significant litigation matters including bad faith, as well as numerous companies and public entities. Mr. Gilling is also a certified baseball agent by the Major League Baseball Players Association and represents several major league players in contract negotiations and endorsements. Mr. Gilling is a 1992 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Gilling was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1995 and the Michigan State Bar in 1992. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Arizona as well as Michigan.
